Shiftlings
Shiftlings is an entertaining, physics-based puzzle-platf...
In Shut the Box, players engage in a simple yet addictive numerical dice game that has been enjoyed in homes and pubs for centuries. The game board consists of nine numbered wooden tiles arranged in a frame alongside a set of dice.
Gameplay follows straightforward rules: players roll two dice and then flip down any combination of available tiles that match the total sum of the face values shown on the dice. For instance, if a player rolls a total of 8, they can choose to flip down the 8 tile, the 7 and 1 tiles, the 6 and 2 tiles, or any other open combination summing to 8. Rolling continues until no remaining open tile combination can fulfill the dice sum. If all nine tiles are successfully flipped down, the player shuts the box and achieves a perfect score.
The Wii U version takes advantage of the GamePad's interactive touch screen, letting players roll dice and touch tiles directly on the controller screen. With quick rounds, score-tracking modes, and straightforward mechanics, Shut the Box offers a cozy, bite-sized board game experience suitable for players of all ages.
