Shovel Knight
Shovel Knight is a critically acclaimed 8-bit retro actio...
Shütshimi (also known as Shütshimi: Seriously Swole) puts you in control of a heavily muscled goldfish defending the seas with a bullet-morphing shotgun and other weapons. The core loop is built around the goldfish’s goldfish-like attention span: every combat wave and shop phase lasts only about 10 seconds. You fight endless waves of aquatic-themed enemies in classic horizontal shmup fashion, then immediately enter a shop where three random upgrades, weapons, hats, or chaotic modifiers appear. You have mere seconds to read the cryptic descriptions and pick one before the next wave begins.
The upgrades range from straightforward power boosts and alternate weapons (machine gun, laser, mucus launcher, cannon, etc.) to wild effects such as inverted controls, rotated camera, slow-motion, bouncing castles, or replacing enemies with flying butts. Hats are a major collectible element—dozens exist, some purely cosmetic and others granting special “Hattributes” that further alter gameplay. Every fifth wave brings a boss fight, and the game includes multiple modes such as Arcade (with difficulty options), Boss Rush, and local multiplayer.
Visually the game uses colorful 2D pixel art with energetic, cartoonish flair and a loud, upbeat soundtrack that matches the breakneck pace. Humor is constant and deliberately silly. On Wii U it supports the GamePad (including off-TV play), Pro Controller, Classic Controller, and Wii Remote setups. The experience is designed for quick pick-up-and-play sessions or chaotic couch multiplayer rather than long narrative campaigns.

No. It is designed for short, intense sessions. Individual runs are brief due to the 10-second phases, though high-score chasing, hat collection, and unlockables provide replay value.
It launched on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in 2015 before arriving on Wii U eShop in 2016.
Leaderboards are present for high-score competition. There is no online multiplayer—only local co-op/competitive play.
ESRB E10+ for Mild Fantasy Violence, Crude Humor, and Use of Tobacco. Enemies explode into confetti-style effects; the game contains light crude humor and a character smoking a cigar in the opening sequence.
